Bloomsbury International

Bloomsbury International

Bloomsbury International started in 2004 with 2 buildings linked. In 2008 they decided to move to the Bloomsbury Street and buy 2 others buildings providing 26 classrooms.

Today's Bloomsbury

Today, Bloomsbury International is a worldwide school with a great diversity. Indeed, there is no dominant nationality. Each one represents around 10% of the total number of students. Even if there are mainly European people Bloomsbury created a good relationship with Japan and receive today lot of Japanese students. Interactive white boards now equip all the 26 classrooms. It is a good way to include worldwide news in the courses. You can work directly on what it is happening in the world. At Bloomsbury International the lessons are a combination between this quite new technology and traditional methods with highly qualified teachers. Teachers try give to the courses a fun and interactive way as much as possible. At this school you are not just a number. Everyone knows everyone. You will study in a really friendly and productive atmosphere.

what class will I be in

Like in most schools you will have an exam before beginning a course. Teachers have to know your own English level to put you in the right group. Your improvements are directly linked to that group. A group is composed on the average of 10/12 students. If you feel good in a group and you would like to learn some things harder you can ask to be upgraded. Bloomsbury is quite flexible and wants the best for you so if you and your teacher think you can be in a higher group you will be upgraded.

what makes Bloomsbury unique

Why do you choose Bloomsbury International? First because – you understood it – you are not just a number in this school. You will study within a friendly atmosphere thanks to all the staff. They implement a “one to one” relationship and everyone knows each other. Moreover, their location. It’s not a secret: you want to enjoy London and you understood that it’s not when you are outside of central London that you can do it. Bloomsbury is extremely central and you will find difficulty to find a better location to study. Plus, prices are really competitive. Of they don’t deny it, you can find cheaper but in terms of quality of teaching they are one of the cheapest school in London.

I have my own personal affinity for Bloomsbury international as when I cam to London almost 6 years ago to study English its where I enrolled.  I can tell you from my own experiences that its a great school and I would be happy to discuss with or answer any questions you have on courses offered by Bloomsbury London.
